I found you as a link on George Contreras' blog, not sure how you two know each other, but there you go. George was one of my football coaches in high school, back when we both had hair and it was brown, haha!!! I wanted to thank you for serving our country tell you God speed. Are you in Germany? I served six years active in the Army, first four spent in training and the 82nd Airborne Division and last two in northern Germany as a Security NCO at a Nike/Hercules missile site....so I'm an old Army dog too!!!! I would love to hear where you are stationed and how Germany is now, it has been 25 years since I was there.....lots has changed I am sure. But, I'm sure it is still much the same too. I loved living there and I coached and played semi-pro American football during my time there. I was on the Osnabruck Silverbacks, they are now the Tigers. How about you, do you play ball too? Auf Wiedersehn.....Steve
My name is Mike Zaleuke and I am 22 years of age. I joined the United States Army as an Infantry Soldier in April of 2009. I attended Western Kentucky University where I majored in Corporate and Organizational Communications. This is my story about Basic Training at Ft. Benning Georgia. I graduated my BCT and AIT training as of October 9th 2009 and will be heading to Germany for my first duty station. I hope you all enjoy.
